What is a limited-edition print?
A limited-edition print is simply a print hand-signed and numbered by the artist. The print series is limited by a designated quantity – for instance, a print identified as an edition of 350 would have numbers specifying such on the left-hand margin. A number of “50/350″ would tell the viewer that that specific print is number 50 out of an edition of 350. The artist’s signature appears on the right side margin.
What is an artist proof?
An artist proof is an identical print to the limited-edition series, but will be reproduced in a smaller quantity. Generally, an artist proof series would be ten percent of the limited-edition quantities. The viewer would see “12/35 A.P.” on the left side margin. This instance would mean that that print is number 12 artist proof out of a series of 35. The artist’s signature would appear on the right side margin.
What is a canvas print?
A canvas print is a limited series printed on canvas. This gives the print the look as an original painted on canvas. The quantity is smaller than a limited-edition series. I currently am not producing canvas prints.
What is a signed open-edition print?
A signed open-edition print is a print signed by the artist but not limited in quantity, thus it is not numbered. I offer open-edition prints on glossy paper or velour paper with varying sizes. See the open-edition link for further details.
What is a remarque?

What medium do you use?
The majority of my paintings are completed in acrylic. A few have been done in oil, and others have been painted using both.
How long does it take to do a painting?
I am asked this question very often: My answer is an estimate, but each painting requires anywhere from 25 to 40 hours of work. This time, of course, does not include field research or pencil composition layout sketches – these could double the time required to complete the painting.
Do you do commission work?
Yes, I do commission work. Prices vary with factors, such as: size of painting; complexity of subject; and amount of detail. I require a 25% non-refundable deposit prior to doing commission work.
Do web-site prices include framing?
All prices shown in the web-site are listed without frames; framing prices would vary due to styles and sizes.
