What medium do you use?
The majority of my paintings are completed in acrylic. A few have been done in oil, and others have been painted using both.
How long does it take to do a painting?
I am asked this question very often: My answer is an estimate, but each painting requires anywhere from 25 to 40 hours of work. This time, of course, does not include field research or pencil composition layout sketches – these could double the time required to complete the painting.
Do you do commission work?
Yes, I do commission work. Prices vary with factors, such as: size of painting; complexity of subject; and amount of detail. I require a 25% non-refundable deposit prior to doing commission work.
Do web-site prices include framing?
All prices shown in the web-site are listed without frames; framing prices would vary due to styles and sizes.
